TKmt is trained in the following massage techniques:

Sports massage: An athletes best friend, this type of massage was originally developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function during training. But you don’t have to be an athlete to benefit. It also helps anyone with injuries, chronic pain or restricted range of motion.

Swedish massage: Great for overall relaxation, Swedish massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and provides a range of health benefits.

Myofascial release: A must for endurance athletes Myofascial Release is very effective to eliminate pain and restore motion.

Deep Tissue massage: Perfect for specific injuries or problem areas, Deep Tissue massage targets the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia with more intense pressure to. relieve chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as “adhesions.”)

Trigger Point Massage: Specific finger or thumb pressure into trigger/tender points in muscle and connective tissue right where you need it reduce muscle spasms and referred pain patterns.

Muscle Release Technique: Release the tension in sore, tired muscles with this unique injury therapy that combines compression, extension, movement, and breath to provide relief from pain. With the technique, scar tissue is broken up, the muscle is lengthened and relief from pain starts immediately.

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) Stretches: A great compliment to a regular yoga routine, PNF is supplements daily stretching and helps improve range of motion so athletes can improve performance. Good range of motion makes better biomechanics, reduces fatigue and helps prevent overuse injuries.

Corrective Exercise Specialist:Using advanced knowledge, skills, we work with clients suffering from musculoskeletal impairments, imbalances or post-rehabilitation concerns.
